The Public Policy Professionals Journal (PPPJ) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal
published by the Public Policy Professionals Society of Kenya (PPPSK). It provides a platform
for scholars, practitioners, and researchers to share high-quality work that informs public policy
discourse and practice in Kenya, Africa, and globally.
Submissions are welcome from academics, policymakers, development practitioners,
postgraduate students, and other professionals working in public policy and related fields.
The PPPJ is published annually. Special thematic issues may also be released.

Manuscripts should be submitted via email to pppj@pppsk.org or through the online
submission portal (link will be provided when open). A cover letter and declaration of originality
must accompany all submissions.
To members the processing fee is Ksh.8,000 and non-members is Ksh.12,500 and free to Our
Conference presented Papers.
The double-blind peer review process typically takes 6–8 weeks. Authors will be notified of
editorial decisions as soon as possible.
PPPJ uses APA 7th edition referencing style.
Yes. All PPPJ articles are freely accessible online under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC
BY) licence, ensuring broad dissemination and use.
All submissions are checked for plagiarism using similarity detection tools. Manuscripts with
significant overlap or uncredited content will be rejected.
