About the Conference

The International Conference on Public Policy & Innovation (ICPPI 2026 – Nairobi) Themed Transforming Governance through Innovation, Evidence, and Inclusive Policy Practice, is a premier gathering of global policy professionals and innovators driving innovation and sustainable development.

Organized by the Public Policy Professionals Society of Kenya (PPPSK), this landmark event will bring together policymakers, researchers, scholars, development partners, civil society leaders, private sector actors, and young professionals from across the world.

The conference will provide a dynamic platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaborative innovation to address the complex policy challenges of our time. Participants will explore how innovation in policy can foster inclusive growth, strengthen resilience, and accelerate progress toward Vision 2030, Agenda 2063, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Kenya and Africa are at a pivotal point in governance and development. While progress has been achieved, many policies continue to face challenges in formulation, citizen participation, and implementation. At the same time, disruptive innovations — from digital governance to data-driven decision-making are reshaping how governments, businesses, and societies operate.

ICPPI 2026 positions Kenya as a continental hub for policy innovation and offers participants the opportunity to share research, showcase solutions, and chart pathways toward evidence-based and inclusive policymaking across Africa and beyond.

Conference Objectives

The conference seeks to:

  1. Strengthen Policy Formulation & Implementation; Explore innovative approaches and best practices that enhance evidence-based policymaking.
